Democratic nominee Joe Biden has recently stated that he considers the followers of President Trump as “an armed militia in this country.”
Biden gave a speech about violence in Pennsylvania and said, “This president, long ago, forfeited any moral leadership in this country. He can’t stop the violence because for years he’s fomented it. You know, he may believe mouthing the words ‘law and order‘ makes him strong. But his failure to call on his own supporters to stop acting as an armed militia in this country shows how weak he is. Does anyone believe there’ll be less violence in America if Donald Trump is reelected?”
Biden might need to rethink what he said about Trump supporters. He is grouping people based on the actions of a single person.
Though not stated, Biden may have been talking about Kyle Rittenhouse, the teen who shot and killed two people during a riot, who was supposedly a member of a militia.
