She’s not coming back from this one….
Kamala Harris is considered a fan favorite for Biden’s vice president, however an old video might be one of the things holding her back from actually getting the nomination.
Harris has gotten quite a bit of scrutiny in regards to her years as a prosecutor. Tulsi Gabbard brought up Harris’ record in a previous video and critically hit Harris’ campaign when she was running for presidency.
Gabbard said, “I want to bring the conversation back to the criminal justice system that is disproportionately, negatively affecting black and brown people today. Senator Harris says she’s proud of her record as a prosecutor and that she’ll be a prosecutor president, but I’m deeply concerned about this record of Senator Harris.”
“She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana. She blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California.”
Harris dropped out four months after the debate that humiliated her. If Biden does end up choosing Harris, her previous record will probably be back in the news.
