Democratic Mayor Steve Adler has been caught in a bind after telling his residents to stay at home while he’s out vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Adler can be heard saying, “everybody has to be aware of that and we need to stay home if you can. Do everything you can to try and keep the numbers down.”
“This is not the time to relax.”
Adler decided to add, “There was no recommendation for people not to travel during that period of time. Someone could look at me and say, ‘He traveled.’ But what they could not say is that I traveled at a time when I was telling other people not to travel.”
He received quite a bit of backlash and ended up having to post:

Why should people be listening to these people when they themselves won’t follow their own statements.
